Why Rich Dad, Poor Dad

| 2015-08-30

If anyone doesn’t know, I am a huge fan of the Rich Dad Company. It’s safe to say that a good portion of my personal finance library consists of Rich Dad books. In fact, the No. 1 best-selling personal finance book of all-time, Rich Dad, Poor Dad, was the foundation of my financial education. After reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad I became hooked. I began to purchase more and more Rich Dad books.

As my financial education grew over time, I would find myself trying to examine the content of the books. I attempted to find faults with philosophies and statements that contradicted ones made in other books. I was unsuccessful. I’ll put it like this: Robert Kiyosaki knows what he is talking about. Not only that, the information is provided in a way that anyone can easily understand it.

But that’s not why I place the Rich Dad Company at the top of the list.

The reason the Rich Dad Company stands out from the crowd is it provides true financial education.

Some financial “experts” talk about getting out of debt and saving money. Or others will advise people to invest in mutual funds. The problem with that is it’s dangerous information. It’s dangerous because it doesn’t take into account the overall state of the economy. It assumes that growth is constant and downturns or depressions don’t exist. Additionally, the financially uneducated are sold the riskiest investments of all. There’s nothing “mutual” about mutual funds. You put up all the money and take all the risks, and the majority of your gains – if you have gains – go to a fund manager. That’s not smart.

The Rich Dad Company books teach you how to think for yourself. The information provided empowers you to take control of your financial well-being, rather than trusting someone to have your best interests in mind.

The books teach you how to see the world of money from the winning side.

• How to legally reduce taxes
• How to generate more income
• How to protect your assets
• And much, much more!

In short, we chose to offer Rich Dad books in our online store because we feel that it is true financial education. And to win, you have to have the right information.
