Are You Entertaining Money?

A lot of people are probably wondering what is meant when we ask, “Are you entertaining money?” To entertain money simply means to take the right actions that lead to building wealth. So the question is this: Are you taking the proper actions that lead to maximizing your wealth?

Below are five questions for consideration.

1. Are you developing your financial education?

Having a solid financial education is extremely important in the Information Age. The rules of money changed in 1971, and getting ahead today requires playing by the new rules. The central theme of financial education is wealth creation. But before you can take action to build your wealth, you must first know what the right actions are. That’s where financial education comes in.

2. Do you have a wealth strategy?

Whether you prefer using a map or GPS, it’s wise to have a guide that helps you get to a destination. The same is true when entertaining money. You need to have a plan of action. Having a plan helps you to define a vision, and it keeps you accountable. Depending upon where you are starting from, your first action may be simply to spend less money or to generate more income. The important thing is to take the time to map out where you are going and identify the steps to get there.

3. Who influences you?

Some say that you can tell a person’s future by the friends they hang around. It’s important to guard who you give attention to and what thoughts affect your mindset. It seems that way more people desire to see you fail rather than to see you succeed. Be careful of what and who you entertain. Building wealth is a team effort. Seek out individuals who have the resources that can help you reach your goal.

4. Are you using time wisely?

Each day has 24 hours. Time equals opportunity. There’s the opportunity to get work done and there’s the opportunity to waste time. Don’t be distracted. Entertain money. Pursue your vision.

5. Do you exercise good discipline?

No one cares about you like you. Therefore, you have to do what it takes to bring home the prize. This often means making sacrifices and putting in the work. Write down your goals. Create a schedule for knocking out a bit at a time. Soon the results will be visible, and that will be empowering. In order to live like no one else in the future, you have to live like no one else in the present. Get it done!
